  1. Apple CEO Tim Cook is back on Charlie Rose tonight, and this time he’s
    talking about privacy http://engt.co/1DcJDUd http://engt.co/WVbM0W

  2. HereAtApple says:

Apple is the best company ever created. Best products, best talent, best
design, best business practices, and the list goes on.

  3. Lap Fung Lee says:

In some sense, he also means Apple opts to avoid the real difficult
problems, and Apple can never bring real personalized products to people.
Let Amazon and Google etc be the evil guys. ;)

  4. William Neff says:

I am sure ISIS, child pornographers, … will be glad to know that Apple is
doing all it can to protect their privacy.

  5. More than anything, it is this one thing why I buy Apple and not Android
based technology. Follow the money. Apple makes money selling products.
Google makes money selling YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

  6. Bernhard Nahrgang says:

Apple CEO Tim Cook talks about consumer privacy, data, and Apple Pay in an
    exclusive two-part interview.

  7. Michael Cohn says:
  8. Lamarr Wilson says:

Excellent discussion on the fundamental difference between Google and
Apple. And the best part? It all comes down to consumer choice. If you
don’t mind your data being used, Google is AMAZING, and so is Facebook. If
you DO mind, Apple is a great alternative. No harm done to either company.

  9. Question Tree says:

    Where is part 2?

  10. Brandon Murray says:

One thing I certainly agree on with the way Apple does business is that
they sell products that tie in with services and software, but they don’t
use personal data in any of their services in the manner companies like
    Google of Facebook does.

What’s your take on Apple and their way of protecting data?

Oh yeah, don’t bring up the photos that were hacked… that was due to
    phishing and not Apple’s services.

  11. Kerrigan Marois says:

Does itunes not acquire personal data? Also, they hacked imessages a year
ago, the claim that they can’t decrypt the data is completely false,
because its been done. The average bonehead can’t crack iOS devices, but
apple and the NSA definitely can.

Makes me angry to hear this guy sit up there and lie, then he lies about
the NFC payment thing. That is also totally hackable. What apple really
wants to do, is not be liable for protecting your data and CC info on their
    devices.

  12. Jamie Ferrel says:

2:30 Tim Cook is an obvious liar.

  13. Bitcoin or no point.

  14. Stefano Montanari says:

    #TimCook on #Privacy and #ApplePay @ #CharlieRose:

Let’s play good company, bad company game.
New statement: follow the money, not the data, when concerning about
    security :|

  15. KiloSierraAlpha says:

BEWARE of FB and Google: “If you are not paying for it, you’re not the
customer; you’re the product being sold.”

“If you are not paying for it, you’re not the customer; you’re the product
    being sold.”

    Don’t be the a product!

  16. He couldn’t have said it any better. Steve made the right decision choosing
    Tim Cook.

  17. when chicken face says OUR BUSINESS IS SELLING THESE during 1:02 he is
really talking about selling your data to the Gov who will deal with the
encryption, nice old legal trick there to claim you told the public

  18. good guy tim

  19. I’ve been explaining this to muggles for over a year now. Apple does not
sell your info amor do they want it. That’s not how they make money
#FollowTheMoney How say the #Droid users?

  20. Justin Greed says:

For all of the criticism warranted or not about Apple I just gained a new
level of respect for Cook and the shop he is running. What he said about
privacy is spot on and refreshing.

As I typed this from my IPad 4, after finishing up a project on my Mac Book
pro. But I plan to upgrade my Galaxy S3 for a Note 4 next month.

  21. Waleed Alzuhair says:
  22. Nicholas Wallingford says:

    BULLSHIT!!!!

  23. Derrick Hall says:

Apple is like a halo company.

  24. Brad Thompson says:

    *Tim Cook Regarding Apple Privacy*
I’m still feeling it’s only 1/2 truths being told, but I believe he is
sincere in being the most private of all the companies.
    #privacy #apple

  25. Husam AL-Rumaih says:
  26. Ramon McNally says:

“The number of people that will switch from other smartphones will be
    enormous!” …OK ….”we don’t want all that data on charlie …we won’t
keep the data” …I like the Google bashing on data and how they handle
    privacy.

  27. Tim cook is fantastic

  28. Chuck Norris says:

3 years and it looks like pos. No rounded screen, no oled, no thanks Tim.

  29. So what happens if there’s a breach in that system with no record of
    product purchases?

That means people are going to Robb others for their iPhone 6/plus!

  30. Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, Inc., talks about how the Apple watch will be able
to make great advances in being able to interact with and help people
manage and improve their health awareness.

  31. 0:00 The apple watch is the most useless device we ever created.

  32. Aegys TierOne says:

“We have been working on the Watch for three years…”

Still think Apple is copying others?…:)

  33. Old Man Romano says:

WHY APPLE WATCH IS TERRIBLE WHEN COMPARED TO ANDROID SMARTWATCH: Android
understands that the entire point of a smartwatch is simple glanceable
information, and easy to access voice navigation. BUT apple has no easy
glanceable information and instead just repackages their same old,
played-out icon page, which is not at all innovative to a smartwatch or
useful. To demonstrate how poor their thinking process actually is, is the
fact that they showed off being able to look at pictures on their watch as
if anyone is actually using their watch to show people pictures?

  34. Nothing new….useless device!!!!

  35. Jorge Armando Garcia says:

Is a copu from thr galaxy watc

  36. So what happens if there’s a breach in that system with no record of
    product purchases?

That means people are going to Robb others for their iPhone 6/plus!

  37. Trebol Bajo says:

after the nsa tracks your brain waves, they’re gonna start to send signals
directly into your brain. apple and other companies will market how much
those “brain reminders” are gonna improve people’s lives.

  38. Trebol Bajo says:

great, now the nsa can track your heart rate too. next they’re gonna track
    your brain waves.

  39. DEVILS CHILD says:

This product is for dumb, lazy, obese people who can’t reason by themselves
and have a degenerating IQ. No thanks Apple ! People should try to educate
themselves because one day our children wouldn’t be able to add 2+2 without
    their apple products.
