Eat a healthy diet. High in fiber – your carbs should be complex. Fast for two meals a month, that will clean out your colon.

Going on a juice fast can help, but you should ask your doctor first to make sure you can safely.

  2. A great way to detox naturally, aside from the obvious of drinking loads of fresh filtered water, is to drink a herbal tea called Dandelion Tea. Tea made from the roots and leaves of the Dandelion plant have been traditionally used to bolster and support liver function, which is the human body’s major organ of detoxification ………………….. simply put 2 – 3 teaspoons organic loose leaf dandelion tea (any health food store should be able to supply you) in a teapot and infuse with hot water for 10 minutes ……….. as the taste is a bit bland simply pep up the taste with an organic peppermint tea bag or flavor of your choice. When lemongrass is added to dandelion tea, it has a tonic effect on sluggish kidneys – if you have dark circles under your eyes then this is a sign of weakened kidney function.

Drinking Dandelion tea is one of the most effective ways to detoxify your body, because it stimulates digestive enzymes and bile to allow the easier metabolism of fatty foods.

Make sure you also drink plenty of fresh filtered water too ……… Dandelion tea is excellent for ridding the body of excess fluid. As the tea leaves contain high amounts of potassium, the body is not depleted of this important mineral through the diuretic effect of the tea.

Include loads of antioxidant rich fresh brightly colored fruits and vegies in your diet as well as this will bulk up your stools and make the elmination process far smoother.

If you do not like to take psyllium (a natural fiber that you can mix with water or add to food) and taking liquid chlorophyl ( a natural extract of what makes plants green, cleanses the body and tonifies the blood) then I suggest you eat a lot if high fiber foods including lots of raw, green veggies especially Kale and cabbage. In general, eat 5 to 7 servings of vegetables and fruit each day, More veggies than fruit and more raw than cooked.

Eat plenty of whole grains. If you think you are eating whole wheat bread, check the label, if it has white flour in it, it is not whole wheat bread. Grains like old fashioned whole oats not quick oats, brown rice and wild rice, not quick rice or white rice. millet, amaranth, quinoa, barley, etc…

Nuts abd cooked dried beans. Read labels, look on the internet for fiber content of foods and count your fiber grams to insure you get 100% of the recommended 20 to 25 grams daily.
